  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept cash, eftpos, credit, paywave and laybuy.
  • What’s your cancellation policy?
    To ensure our precious time is uninterrupted we ask that you cancel or change your appointment with more than 48hours notice. If you have to cancel or change your appointment within less than 48hours, your 25% deposit paid when making your appointment will be forfeited. We will consider extraordinary circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
  • I'm running late, what happens?
    Please call as soon as possible if you are running late to your appointment. We allow a 10 minute grace period before your services may be affected.
  • Am I able to come in for a consult so I know what services to book?
    Absolutely! Book a free consultation online so you can see the salon, meet our stylists and talk about which services to book to reach your hair goals.
  • Where are you located?
    The Miss Momajo Hair Salon is located at 215 Waiwhetu Road, Fairfield, Lower Hutt. Free on-street parking available.
  • What products/brands do you use in salon?
    At Miss Momajo, we use the professional Keune range for washing, colouring and styling. Our Keratin treatments use the Brazilian Secrets Hair system. We also stock Olaplex, Evo and Tidal Hair.
  • Do you offer mens/barber cuts?
    Yes we do, we can do a range of men's cuts and styles.
  • Do you offer child cuts?
    Yes we can cut hair for school-age children 5+
  • Do you offer student discounts?
    Present your tertiary student ID for 10% off your appointment
  • I’m not sure who to book in my hair services with, can you recommend some one?
    All our stylists are exceptional at what they do and will be able to look after you. If you'd like to be recommended a stylist for your services please call us on 04 909 0273 or use our contact form here.
  • Can I bring someone to my appointment with me?
    We ask that you avoid bringing children and friends with you to your appointment. However, if this is unavoidable please call ahead to notify us.
  • Do you offer gift vouchers?
    Yes we do. You can purchase gift vouchers online through our timely booking site here or in-salon.
  • What should I bring to my appointment with me?
    Just your lovely self is required. We provide tea, water, coffee and magazines. Feel free to bring your favourite book or your laptop to study or work from our workspace area in the salon, equipped with a large table and chairs so you can multitask like the boss you are!
